ATLANTA, – Manhattan Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH) announced today that Bealls Inc., a 110-year-old-family-owned retailer, has transformed its operations with its implementation of Manhattan Active® Omni, reducing split shipments by 17% and cutting fulfillment costs while achieving a 90% improvement in first-fill rates. The implementation, completed in collaboration with Columbus Consulting, modernized Bealls Inc’s. legacy systems over 650 stores across 22 states under the names bealls, Bealls Florida, and Home Centric, as well as eCommerce platforms bealls.com and BeallsFlorida.com, positioning the retailer for scalable growth and rising customer expectations.
Facing outdated, disconnected systems that hindered efficiency, Bealls Inc. sought a unified platform to streamline store fulfillment, enhance guest services, and reduce operational costs. By deploying Manhattan Active® Omni’s microservices-based architecture, the retailer integrated its order management, loyalty program, and fulfillment processes into a centralized system, enabling real-time visibility and agility.

The implementation was completed in two phases: bealls.com launched its new order management system, web platform, and new loyalty program in late 2023, followed by Bealls Florida’s modernized store fulfillment operations in May 2024. The new system enables employees to use handheld devices for picking orders, increasing speed while minimizing errors and reducing costs.
